Sealing

For a couple of years the company GEALAN has been setting standards for the factory-fitted In-line sealing type. A big advantage of this sealing solution is the same gasket 'geometry' for both the glazing seals and frame weather stripping. Due to this there are no problems with fitting new gaskets when replacing a window pane with a new one. The gaskets have been designed in such a way that they can be seen neither from the inside nor from the outside of the house. For all main sections, the following colours of gaskets are available: white papyrus (similar to RAL 9018) or black.

Advantages of the Gealan system

Glazing slats with co-extruded gaskets: easy to replace, only a narrow edge is visible. It can be used with thick panes and it is ideal to control noise: up to 33 mm thick glass for staggered and 49 mm for flush surface sashes.

Anti-burglar protection – thanks to placing the Euro hardware inside, there is a possibility to use bigger striker plates.

Frame with weldable centre seals.

• Technologically advanced glazer’s keway with a big water-collecting chamber - optimal water drainage through a sloped groove, easy to maintain frame, level surface for flush installation screws.
• Secure hardware fixing thanks to numerous PVC walls and supporting ribs.
• Many additional sections, perfect connection possibilities, trims, static sections and extensions.
• Connection of mullions is safe and durable due to special connectors.
